Business Development Manager


Roles, Responsibilities & Accountability

  • Experience in handling government & private tenders, both online and offline. Prepare all tender documents in the specific formats related to the bid. Typically requires experience in Govt. Tenders / private Tenders as an individual contributor.
  • Search Private / Government Tenders. Follow-up with Private / government clients. Preparing & filling E-Tenders.
  • In charge of independent territory with own set target.
  • Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes
  • Develop and manage Branch Network in the Region independently.
  • Increase market penetration and business share.
  • Driving establishment of Sales in new region End-to-end customer management
  • Liaison with Govt. Department for Vendor Registration
  • Responsible to achieve targets and profitability of the region
  • Maintaining Customer Relationship with existing / new clients. Tie-Ups with the Institutions
  • Accountable to add new business development and retain the existing accounts.
  • Reporting bidding status online / offline on daily basis
  • Work closely with external and internal stakeholders
  • Handle the client’s escalation promptly and provide prompt resolutions.
  • Negotiates optimum deals and sells parts at maximum margins to acquire and retain customers in the long-term and maximize company s profit as per company polices.
  • Track competitor activity on a continuous basis and take action to counter competitor strategies

Technical Skills

  • Excellent Communication skill
  • Proficiency in Ms office: Word, Power point, Excel.
  • Should be very good into analytics.
  • A very good communicator and presenter

Behavioral Skills

  • Should have good Business understanding and understanding of financials
  • Should have good interpersonal skills
