Technical Content Writer


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Understand technical aspects in the project areas and consolidate to demonstrate.
  • Performing prior art patent searches on various patent databases, analyzing and developing inventive concepts to enhance patentability of the inventions, and drafting patent applications.
  • As a Technical person, you would be actively involved in analyzing inventions in different technologies and fields of engineering such as software, computer science, electronics & communication, telecommunication, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, semiconductors, etc., and other fields such as business methods.
  • Carrying out patent searches on various databases, with projects like patentability, invalidation, infringement, landscape, state of Art & FTO’s
  • Technical analysis of Patents, applications, and other technical documents. Preparation of potential infringing product list.
  • Preparation of claim charts for patent infringements. Market sales report for patent technology.
  • Produce well-researched content for publication online and in print
  • Organize writing schedules to complete drafts of content or finished projects within deadlines.
  • Utilize industry best practices and familiarity with the organization's mission to inspire ideas and content.
  • Communicate and cooperate with a writing team, including product head and research managers.
  • Follow an editorial calendar, collaborating with other members of the contentproduction team to ensure timely delivery of materials.

Qualifications for Technical Content Writer focused on Engineering

  • Proven record of excellent writing demonstrated in a professional portfolio.
  • An impeccable grasp of the English language, including idioms and current trends in slang and expressions.
  • Ability to understand technology and communicate it across
  • Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with clients, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously.
  • Strict adherence to the style guides of each company and their policies for publication.
